This 120m² city apartment renovation is a tribute to the architectural aesthetic of the 1960s, reintroducing the timeless elegance of mid-century modern design into the present day. The central element of the intervention is the use of natural wood in warm tones, which adorns iconic furniture such as the low, organic-curved coffee table and the geometric shelving unit that acts as a room divider, allowing light to flow unobstructed throughout the space. The terrazzo flooring preserves the authentic urban identity of the apartment, while the multi-colored rug with bold geometric shapes and the marble wall cladding in the dining area add depth and character. The lighting has been meticulously designed with multiple sources—ranging from minimal black ceiling spotlights to iconic period table lamps—creating an atmosphere that balances nostalgia with modern functionality, perfect for a space that exudes tranquility and high aesthetics.
