POLYGON Residential Building

This is the complete architectural study we made for a residential building in Glyfada, Athens. It stands as a bold architectural statement near the Saronic Gulf, where minimalist brutalism meets coastal sophistication. The design is heavily inspired by polygonal geometries, utilizing the raw, sculptural power of exposed concrete and the sharp precision of dark steel to create a rhythmic, multi-faceted facade. Inside, the apartments maintain a "refined ruggedness," with monolithic concrete walls contrasted by warm hardwood flooring. The minimalist kitchen, featuring matte-black cabinetry and a stone island, acts as a functional centerpiece, while expansive black-framed glazing invites the Athenian light to highlight the home's technical details and architectural HVAC integration. This residence seamlessly blends industrial strength with a clean, contemporary aesthetic, offering a unique sanctuary tailored to its prestigious seaside location.
